First Prize: WoodChallenge 2007

The WoodChallenge 2007 yielded two winners. Matthijs Toussaint of the TU Delft and Jenske Dijkhuis both received the highest honor.
The prize is awarded to students or teachers who, through a remarkable achievement and innovation, improve the image of wood or its use.

Due to the wide variety of entries two winners nominated. The submission of Toussaint was according to the jury ”groundbreaking, showing courage and vision, in depth developed and cross departmental: a compliment.” The design of Dijkhuis ”triggered, urged to think differently in wood: a real Challenge.”
